The Afro Pendant was born from a dream during jewelry school in 2023.

More than a jewelry design, this piece was created as a tribute to the beauty, identity, texture, and individuality of African American hair.

For generations, natural hair has been criticized, misunderstood, politicized, and labeled as “unprofessional,” “unkempt,” or unacceptable. Even within military history, Afros were once classified under outdated grooming standards as “fadish” hairstyles.

The Afro Pendant was created in direct opposition to those narratives.

The diamond pavé Afro symbolizes what our hair has always been rare, valuable, beautiful, versatile, and worthy of admiration. 

Crafted with intention and designed to make a statement, The Afro Pendant transforms cultural pride into timeless fine jewelry. Each pendant is individually made to order and available in Continuum™ sterling silver or solid 14k yellow, white, and rose gold.
